HCA'S COMMITMENTS
There are 15 Commitments that fall under the scope of the Independent Monitor
As part of HCA’s acquisition of Mission Health System, HCA agreed to certain commitments to ensure the people of Western North Carolina continued to have access to high quality health care.

HCA’s commitments which fall under the scope of the Independent Monitor include, but are not limited to: keeping major Mission Health facilities open, continuing to provide certain key services, continuing policies for uninsured and charity care, and making significant capital investment
in promised projects and programs.
One of HCA’s commitments include preparing an Annual Report and Cap Ex Report (“HCA Reports”) each year which summarize its compliance with certain terms of the asset purchase agreement. We provide access to the HCA Reports on our website when they are made available to the public.
Please see below some useful resources that provide more information about HCA’s commitments, the HCA Reports and documents issued, and how you can communicate directly with HCA / Mission.
