Ronald Winters is a healthcare sector expert who often assumes court-appointed fiduciary roles for organizations undergoing transitions or transactions.

Prior to forming GIBBINS ADVISORS, Ronald was a Managing Director at each of Healthcare Management Partners and Alvarez & Marsal where he worked a combined 18 years. Prior to that, he spent the first half of his professional career managing portfolio assets and credit policy at what is now Mizuho Financial Group, one of the world’s largest financial organizations.

Ron earned a B.S. in Business and Economics at Lehigh University and an MBA at the Pace University Lubin School of Business.



Thomas Urban is a former hospital President and Chief Executive Officer with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare management.

Working at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio and before that Catholic Health Partners, Urban held the regional leadership role over six hospitals, developed new hospitals, and served rural regions.

Tom holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology from Colgate University and a Master’s of Health Administration from Xavier University (1976). He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.



Clare Moylan is a seasoned healthcare and restructuring professional with a broad base of experience including operations and turnaround management, strategic planning, business analysis, performance improvement and litigation support. 

The combination of operational leadership, business/financial acumen and strategic mindset create a strong and versatile skill set that Clare brings to each engagement. Prior to forming GIBBINS ADVISORS, Clare was the Managing Partner of Healthcare Management Partners based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clare is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst). She has a Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honors) from Macquarie University (Australia) and a Master Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Cornell University.



Ginger Smith’s well-honed expertise lies in financial control, treasury functions, finance strategy, transaction management, taxation, and litigation support for healthcare organizations. Her specialized experience includes SEC reporting, initial public offering (IPO), due diligence and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act compliance.

Working primarily as Corporate Controller or Vice President of Finance, over the last 15 years Ginger has supported organizations through periods of transition and transformation.

A qualified CPA accountant, Ginger spent 10 years at BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMTI) in the biotechnology & medical device sector before she expanded to the healthcare services & pharmaceutical space.

Ginger earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lipscomb University and is a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”)(Tennessee). She is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
